Monovarietal extra virgin olive oil

These types of olive oils, which concentrate all that is genuine in a variety of olives, are great gastronomic exponents of a specific geographical area. They agglutinate the flavor and aroma of it, representing its territorial peculiarity. Without a doubt they are the maximum expression of this region.

Why choose a monovarietal, instead of a coupage olive oil? The reasons are based purely on consumer tastes. Not in the quality, which in both cases is not decimated because it is of one type or another of olive oil.

The chose

In the case of choosing a monovarietal, preference is being given to the aromas and flavors of a certain variety of olives. Either because it likes more, or because it is representative of a certain region and it is intended to capture all the essences of it. Tasting the gastronomy of a region is one of the most satisfying ways to get to know it

And if you choose a blend, which is made up of more than one variety of olives, you are surely looking for an olive oil that is more complex in flavor and aroma, more balanced, or perhaps a perfect pairing with depending on which foods. These olive oils are usually more tolerated by people who are not used to olive oil compared to some monovarietal oils such as picual olive oil, for example. The reason is that its aromas and flavors are softer, more tempered as a result of the mixture.

Now that we know that it is a monovarietal olive oil, we can choose wisely when consuming our most precious good, the EVOO. Also, most of these are Premium olive oils, so the sensory experience is assured.
