Picuda olive oil
The Picuda olive oil is obtained from the variety of the picuda olive. This variety of olive is scarcer compared to the rest of the varieties.
Due to this, its cultivation extends in the provinces of Granada, Jaén, Málaga and Córdoba without becoming the predominant variety. Likewise, it is present especially in the south of the province of Córdoba. Specifically in the Natural Park of the Sierras Subbéticas and surroundings.
On the other hand, Picuda olive oils are delicate and fruity, very aromatic, with the aroma and flavor of fresh almonds, apple or tomato. At first, when it enters the mouth, the first taste is sweet. And later it has a slight bitterness with an itch at the end.
Finally, it is worth mentioning that the olive oils included in this section correspond to juices that comply with the guarantees of quality and control of the Protected Designations of Origin (PDO) of Priego de Córdoba and Baena. Besides, some of these olive oils have been winners of numerous national and international awards.
In conclusion, we can affirm that the olive oils that we offer are of a superior or Premium category and that they guarantee a sensory experience to anyone passionate about EVOO.
