Marqués de Prado olive oil: origin and production

This olive oil is produced from Picual olives, from olive groves between 10 and 40 years old on the Cortijo de Suerte Alta (Córdoba) estate. On the other hand, Arbequina olives come from the “El Cañuelo” farm, in Seville, of rainfed and intensive cultivation.

This olive oil has a higher concentration of natural antioxidants compared to the average of Arbequina olives due to the intensive and rainfed cultivation already mentioned. Thus, we can affirm that buying this organic Marques de Prado olive oil with a high level of antioxidants is providing benefits to your health.

Awards and Quality Stamps

Regardless of all the awards won by Cortijo de Suerte Alta as an oil mill, this EVOO has also achieved many distinctions despite its short life. Until 2019 he was distinguished with the following awards:

  • Honorable Mention of 2019 in Ovibeja
  • Great mention to organic olive oil in the China International Olive Oil Competition
  • Silver Medal at the EVO-IOOC

In addition, it has the SEQEVQV Extra Internationali quality stamp, an essential quality accreditation to be able to access certain markets abroad. As it is an olive oil so appreciated outside our borders, it has all the administrative guarantees that prove its quality.

Soft aromas of green leaf, tomato and citrus with a mild bitterness characteristic of Picual olives and a sweet entry followed by an itch in the mouth and throat typical of the Arbequina. Medium fruity with aromas of apple.
