On the farms where the olives are harvested, the olive trees are found at an altitude of between 300 and 700 m. And it is a traditional mountain olive grove with a high slope. The area has a continental Mediterranean climate with average rainfall and marked temperature fluctuations. And the soil is clayey with a high calcium carbon composition. Likewise, the harvesting of the olives takes place from the end of November to January and the techniques used are mechanized and manual shaking.
La Laguna is the original brand of its producer, Sucesores de Hermanos López. An oil mill with more than a century and a half of existence and located in the town of Luque (Córdoba). On the other hand, this brand gets its name from the farm where the olives are harvested to obtain this juice: La Laguna del Salobral or del Conde.
