La Laguna Organic, is a premium olive oil and regulated by the Protected Designation of Origin (PDO) of Baena. Taste the aroma and flavor of a juice coupage of picuda, picual and hojiblanca olives.

Its balance, harmony and elegance in aroma and flavor allows you to enjoy a complexity of green and ripe nuances of the picuda, picual and hojiblanca olives. Its entry into the mouth is very sweet, with a flavor of almonds and herbs being appreciated in the front part of the mouth. When passing to the back, the flavor of the olive leaf is appreciated, a medium bitter taste and with a very light final itch.

It is also an organic EVOO, so its production has followed ecological standards. Environment

On the farms where the olives are harvested, the olive trees are found at an altitude of between 300 and 700 m. And it is a traditional mountain olive grove with a high slope. The area has a continental Mediterranean climate with average rainfall and marked temperature fluctuations. And the soil is clayey with a high calcium carbon composition. Likewise, the harvesting of the olives takes place from the end of November to January and the techniques used are mechanized and manual shaking.

Producer

La Laguna is the original brand of its producer, Sucesores de Hermanos López. An oil mill with more than a century and a half of existence and located in the town of Luque (Córdoba). On the other hand, this brand gets its name from the farm where the olives are harvested to obtain this juice: La Laguna del Salobral or del Conde.

In addition to this brand, they also produce and market Morellana, a brand of monovarietal olive oils with which they have won numerous competitions.
