Producer

La Laguna is the original brand of its producer, Sucesores de Hermanos López. An oil mill with more than a century and a half of existence and located in the town of Luque (Córdoba). On the other hand, this brand receives its name from the farm where the olives are collected to obtain this juice: La Laguna del Salobral or del Conde.

In these farms where the olives are collected, the olive trees are at an altitude of between 300 and 700 m. And it is a traditional mountain olive grove with a steep slope. The area has a continental Mediterranean climate with average rainfall and marked temperature fluctuations. And the soil is clayey with a high calcium carbon composition. Likewise, the harvest of the olives takes place from the end of November to January and the techniques used are mechanized and manual shaking.

In addition to this brand, they also produce and market Morellana, a brand of monovarietal olive oils with which they have won numerous competitions.
